Oversized, bad-tempered, and not particularly bright. Travels in packs of four to eight and will scatter the moment one of them goes down.

Danger: minor injuries at worst, unless the party is already low on resources.

Harmless in a fight, but will happily steal small unattended items and lead pursuers into a bog. More of a plot device than a monster.

Danger: none directly; danger comes from where it leads you.

An animated suit of armor with no rider, fighting on old orders it no longer remembers. Slow but relentless, and doesn't respond to intimidation or negotiation.

Danger: real, especially for a party without a front-line fighter.

Trades in curses and bad bargains rather than open combat. Most dangerous in conversation, where her offers always sound better than they are.

Danger: low physically, high if the party takes the deal.

A young dragon, territorial and quick to anger. Not as clever as its elders, which makes it more likely to escalate a fight rather than talk its way out of one.

Danger: can end a session early for an underleveled party.

A thing with no fixed shape, described differently by every survivor who's seen it. GMs are encouraged to keep its true nature undefined for as long as possible.

Danger: unknown by design; treat with caution.
